My favorite season of the year? Tomato season. Hands down. I have decided to devote the next several posts to my favorite summer tomato dishes. Most are so simple, they don’t require much explanation.
When peaches are in season too, I eat this caprese salad as often as possible. Garden tomatoes, sliced and seasoned with salt and pepper, peaches, fresh mozzarella, basil, and the best olive oil and balsamic vinegar I have. That is all. It is gorgeous.






OoooOoo that looks so delicious. The wonderful weather you have in sunny CA! Here, we have freezes in March and it’s too hot for tomato plants to produce in July. During the next tiny tomato season I will have to enjoy this simple Peach Caprese. mmm mmm mmmm!
