Chicken Chimis with Sour Cream Sauce Recipe
Crispy Jalapeño Chicken and Cheese Chimichangas are served smothered in rich sour cream sauce and sliced avocado.
Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS
12 Jalapeño Chicken and Cheese Chimichangas, prepared according to package
directions
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Flour
1 Cup Water
¼ Cup Chicken bouillon cubes
½ Cup Sour cream
2 Avocados, sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour, and cook for 1 minute.
2. Whisk in the water and bouillon cubes until the water has thickened and the bouillon cubes have dissolved, about 4 minutes.
3. Whisk in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
4. Serve the just cooked Jalapeño Chicken and Cheese Chimichangas, and layer it with the rich sour cream sauce.
5. Garnish it with the avocado slices and enjoy!
