Hi, thank you for the recipe! Do you know if the batter keeps well in the fridge for a few days? I would like to make a big batch for meal prep and make one each morning in the waffle iron
Thanks. I tried it and its great.
Hi Margaret, can I substitute the oats with plain flour?
Date sugar or blended dates gives you a nice brown waffle.
Can I add pumpkin?
I don’t know if this is helpful but I did her recipe with 1 cup of oat flour instead of 4 cups of oatmeal and it turned out great! I also do recommend that you add enough water to where it liquid before you put the mixture in your waffle maker because the oat flour dries quickly. Thanks you for the recipe!
They're so pretty. I'll make some tomorrow
Any substitute for Honey?!
so useful 🙂 thank you 😀
Don't cook using honey it turns poisonous
Anyone try using oatmeal pulp for this recipe? Pls share
Didnt work for me….idk what i did wrong. I used oil to grease waffle maker and both sides got stuck to the maker and the middle was gooey 😔 …i used the batter for pancakes though and they came out amazing
I made this today. It was fantastic!
Brown ness is probably sugars in honey caramalizing
It's not Vegan if you add honey
Hi, I tried to make this recipe but my waffles turn out to be gooey? Why 🙁 i actually cooked it for 10mins already but notjing changes
Margaret, Thank you for sharing your family recipe. Looks scrumptious! Can't wait to try them out!
I'm a college student, I love the way you can just wing it and get great results. Great video 👍

I tried this and it was awesome. I did put some butter on it and it was so good. Thanks for sharing!
Please consider using maple or date syrup instead of honey. Bees as overstretched and most honey companies just “sweep” the bees tending the honeycombs (which are most of them at certain times) along the honey, then filter the honey. It’s cruel and unnecessary. Thank You!
Cool. Thank you
Thanks for the recipe.
I really like this easy & delicious recipe .Thankyou🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
I'm still making these every weekend! My partner uses them as fuel during his endurance events !! Thank you 👍
Trying this for the first time today! Wish me luck

-2tsp vanilla essence
-1tbs sugar
-Water to cover oats on blender to create a thick batter.
7mins to cook.
Thanks so much for your recipe ❤️🙏

I just tried it.. i love it!!!
These are a family staple, thank you so much for a great recipe !!
Mine looked good but refused to cook in the middle. Maybe my batter was too wet. Also I noticed no one is eating these waffles in their videos.
Are these crispy?
Can salt be avoided?
these are so healthy compared to other waffles
Great idea. I can't wait to try it.
