Sesame croissants: how to make them at home!
They are warm, buttery, and extra flaky!INGREDIENTS
380g flour
10g yeast
2 tbsp sugar
60g unsalted butter, melted.
250ml warm milk
1 tsp salt
Sesame seeds as needed
Butter to spread each layer
Egg to apply before baking
METHOD
In a bowl mix milk with yeast, butter and sugar. Sift in the flour and add salt.
Divide the dough into 4 porcions and roll over each one. Spread first with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds, repeat with others. Roll it over again and cut into 16 equal portions, spread again with butter and spin it into croissants.
Dip all croissants into sesame seeds and let it rest for 2 hours, spread with butter.
Bake at 180 ‘ C ( 356 ‘ F ) for 25 minutes
