In this video Giuseppe makes rustic meatballs. These meatballs are something a little different and you can make them as individual as you like. Full of protein, tasty, nutritional and gluten free too! Simple and easy to make. See our rustic meatballs (gluten free) recipe below
INGREDIENTS:
1 x kilo beef mince
500gram x turkey mince
500gram x kangaroo mince
3 x sprigs of mint leaves chopped
3 x sprigs of basil leaves chopped
100ml x coconut cream
1 x tablespoon cumin powder
1 x tablespoon salt
5 x slices of cheese
4 x eggs
1/2 packet (aprrox 6 – 8 thin) rice cakes or some type of flat large cracker
METHOD:
– add all ingredients together
– mix well till all blended and colour is uniform
– roll into ball shapes and cook or freeze
– when frozen thaw before cooking
– these can be shallow fried as a meatball or flattened into patties for burgers
– can also be frozen into patty shape
– add to a sauce to give sauce flavour and cook meatballs
– then enjoy separately
– serve once cooked
– a variety of ways to cook them: just enjoy!

meatballs make for an easy meal, served with some steamed or roasted vegetables on the side, or you can throw a few veggies right in the skillet at the end.
