Cassava cheese recipe:
Nomato pizza sauce:
AIP paleo pizza & crust
Pizza Crust:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup boiling water
2 tbs grass fed gelatin
1 1/2 cup tapioca/cassava/arrowroot flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/2 tsp Himalayan or sea salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup organic palm shortening melted or coconut oil
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line the baking pan of your choice with parchment paper (optional, I didn’t). If you choose not to then greese the pan with oil if choice.
3. Combine boiling water and gelatin in bowl and set aside.
4. In another bowl mix the arrowroot (or which ever flour using), the coconut flour, salt and baking soda together.
5. Add the palm shortening, ACV to the and gelatin mixture to the flours. Come and mix thoroughly until a dough is formed.
6. Set the dough on the baking pan and press into a circle shape until you get your desired pizza crust shape.The thickness of the crust is up to you.
7. Bake for 14-16 min, remove from oven, let cool for 1-2 min, then add the topping and bake again for another 16 min.
For my toppings I used:
Nomato pizza sauce
Onions chopped
Cassava cheese
Hot dog (grass fed organic) ***can omit for AIP and use another grass fed meat.
