Hi Bev, would really be interesting to see another video about Canadian food prices these days.
My wife follows your lead, except for canning, but tips, saving money, recipes. Compliments to the chef. When will you give us a "How How Does it? ________________________________________________________________________________ OVER DO!! LOL!
Soak your rice to remove starches
Glad you got an instapot. Enjoy
Always add half a cup more of water to the rice no more or it will be suggy
Best kitchen tool ever. You got this Bev! I love my 4 pots! Use it almost daily
I just found a Cuisinart pressure cooker at goodwill..brand new but no instruction Manuel. So I'm feeling your pain. Lol
Have had my instapot for a few years now, rice is one thing I've never done.
Lol thats awesome! Mine thanks the crock pot 4 cookin supper lol
There is a learning curve to the instant pot Bev and it is a slick one. Some things you're going to like cooking in it a lot some things you're going to have to do a couple experiments and they're still a maybe. Then for us there are a couple that are just no we're not going to do this again. Try some dried beans in there I think you will love them put some seasoning in and maybe a piece of meat whatever you use for flavoring that is one of those great things. We have completely not learned ours and probably do not use it as much as we should just because sometimes we don't want to think about what we have to do with the instant pot and we know snow how to cook it on top of the stove. And yes as you can see I've always more said instapot instead of instant pot also but I think for some things and maybe even in the coach it would be ideal you just need to come up with some things to do with it to use it most wisely for you. Bless you Bev
You don't have to add your sesame oil in your pan before cooking. You drizzle it over your already cooked food!! 😉
Just let it vent honey.
Hello there Bev!!!Great job with the Instant Pot!!! You've got this!!! Stir fry looks fantastic!!!God bless!!!❤🥘❤🥘❤🥘
Bev you are so funny with your new kitchen toy 😂 You really should read the directions that came with your pot. It makes delicious roast
hi hi i saw you put your sesame oil in fridge? Did not know it should be refridgerated. but you only need so little in cooking so yeah i guess i better
I knew you'd get it! And it's okay to let Gracie drink her water, when our Lab was with us every time we were cooking she became the thirstiest dog in the world because that was the only thing she was allowed to do in the kitchen while we were cooking That was her workaround! I miss her.
LOL at the traumatized comment. Great video as always! TY
You’re doing fine n so glad you attempting new things! You’re a great teacher!!!

Yes!! You did it!! Now use it to hard boil eggs!!!
There is definitely a learning curve to the instant pot, but once you get used to it it's wonderful. I am making chicken broth in mine right now.
Hi Bev, I think Gracey would be a great helper with the instantpot! She could hit the right buttons with her nose! 😁 Hang in there. It will get easier!❤
Hard boiled eggs- manual setting 5 minutes ,5 minutes release pressure and 5 minutes ice bath, then peel. 1 cup of water in pot first and a rack.
Yeah, your mastering the Instant Pot, it’s so fast and lets you walk away to come back to a great meal that you didn’t have to slave over. Have a blessed day, love and hugs ❤️🤗
Good job with the instant pot. Braver than me. Stay well and safe.
I don't think Howie gets the challenge of the Instant Pot! LOL!!! Keep at it Bev. It will get easier……Supper looked delish!
I think one of the many reasons people love you for, is because you are so intrepid, and such an optimist; you challenge things by jumping in with both feet with an attitude of 'it's either you or me kiddo, and I ain't planning on losing.' Once again the dinner turned out fine, and got the Howie thumbs up. Each of us learn new things from you every day; I've been watching you throw frozen things into a pan or pot without thawing first. I've never done that before, but you can be darned sure I'm gonna be trying that now. lol. Thank you Bev. 🙂
"Apperently" you figured out the Mystery of the Insta Pot lol and apperently the meal came out lovely! Bev, you funny, lol Hugs hon!
That made me smile.🙂 Great job! Proud of you.
Good morning, beautiful lady. You have given me the courage to try rice again. Yes, I have burnt rice in my instant pot max, but have made some wonderful meals. I do love my instant pot. I did laugh at the video yesterday because it reminded me of my first experience with a roast. I did what you did…lol 😁 I love your videos teach me so much and often make me laugh. I sent yesterday's video to a friend as she was just like us. Now she is a pro…lol.
I am getting ready to go to the hospital where I am getting an injection in my knee, I will try the rice 🍚.
I am having knee surgery Tuesday morning, please say a prayer for me.
I love you ♥️. It's a pleasure to have you in my life. God bless you and your family. You are all in my prayers 🙏 and thoughts.
Try rinsing your rice before cooking it, and use slightly less water.
