~ shopping for one: how do these grocery prices compare to yours? ~
I think groceries are very expensive here. Agree? Disagree? What do you pay?

I want to come up there to buy my coffee! I pay 7.99 a pound for Seattle's Best, sometimes can get for 6.99, but not often. The cereal, yogurt and meat are about the same as me. Peppers are less, mine are consistently 3.49. Chips are same, but I buy an off brand when I buy them. I'm in the south, in Alabama. We're getting an Aldi soon, so that will help out some. You use your food wisely and are not afraid to mix things up in the kitchen. I like that!
I like this type of videos… it's nice to see what prices are like other areas. I have to say… I agree with you. It seems like the prices in your area are a little high (such as meat, produce and the yogurt).
Thanks, for sharing this video.
Wow, very disappointing. Even our more expensive market, Publix, has cheaper sale prices.
Thank You for posting this. Your meat prices are a little high. Our Kroger has pork loins on sale for $2.49 a lb. and I thought that was still a little high when we can usually get them for $.99 a lb. and boneless, skinless chicken breasts here are always $.99 a pound. Our milk right now at our Aldi's is $.69 a gallon/limit 6 and eggs are $.39 a dozen for large ones. I will never complain again about our grocery prices here in Indiana. 🙂
after Japan…everything is a good price lol
Milk here in Canada…4liters about a gallon is cheapest at $5.66 no kidding…awful…we see your prices nd are amazed…
Your prices look comparable to ours in NY. I use competitor coupons. Today I saved $45.00 and spent $47.00. The buy of the day was a fresh pineapple for $.99. I saved $3.00 on that alone. My daughter(Parsnips and Parsimony) and I love to compare our shopping deals. Check out her VLOG.
Stef, I almost never notice the prices at the supermarket. (Typical dumb guy?) But I cook only one meal a week. I trust Ms. Lulu is much more frugal than I am. She checks prices! It does seem to me that Giant Eagle is more costly than other stores, but then again, people love it for the perceived savings they get on gasoline at their GetGo stations. Thanks for sharing your insight my dear friend!

Love this video! Very interesting to see the prices from a different area!
That was very interesting to see a grocery ad from another part of the country. I thought some of the prices were a bit high. I shop at Aldi and Walmart. I will take a look at other grocery ads to check out the sale items and purchase just what is on sale. I'm very lucky that I have 4 or 5 large supermarket chain stores very close to my home. Thanks for sharing!
Your prices seem really good to me! My sons love cereal. I pay way more!
Have you noticed grocery prices going up in your area? It seems to me things are becoming more expensive and the packaging size becoming smaller. I guess we should be grateful for what we have. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your videos.
I bought Raisin Bran, Rice Krispies, and Mini Wheats by Kellog that are 16 oz. for 99 cents each! Definitely not any good deals imo. Tfs. 🙂
