All the boletes I find are pretty wormy out on the coast even when small. Maybe still too early, too many bugs out I guess now.
Successfully picked a nice 2kg of the brown coloured cap boletus from Thetford UK yesterday. Cooked bolognais with some yesterday, dried the rest. One of the tastes of Italy imo yum! 🙂
These edible, picked a bunch of these fat guys in northern california. brown to red capped. yellow to orange pours. Bruises blue.
