Yay, I have another large family new house vlog for you today! In today’s fixer-upper video I update you on our moving progress. We dig for needed kitchen boxes in the basement, unload those boxes, and get the garage pantry storage shelving set up. We also do a lot of kitchen cleaning and I yet again nearly drop the NEW microwave on my head. I show you the new washer dryer and share more new house set up ideas. I share my easy large family dinner ideas and how I’m feeding all these people in the process. It’s a work in progress, that’s for sure!

I'm just watching this video, love your style! I noticed you purchased over the door shoe organizers, not just for shoes!!! I have one on the inside of my pantry door, holds bags of dry beans and rice perfectly. Also use one for water bottles, because I'm a water bottle addict!!! Thank you for sharing your videos/family life!

I wish I'd known you when I was raising 5 kids in CA with 3 boys who brought crews of friends home every day. I cooked huge meals for everyone. They all called me mama. I admit it. I cooked for them so that they'd want to come to my house so I knew where my kids were. I miss those days. They are all in their 30's now.

i dont have children or plan to have any soon, but really like watching your vlogs. i grew up with 3 siblings and i guess it kind of reminds me of what was going on in our household back then. also, it reminds me of my mom calculating for each grocery haul 😉 i would be curious how you organize other parts of your household, laundry, cleaning up etc – for us, it was only possible if everybody helped which i hated back then but am now grateful for, because it taught me all i need to know for my own household 🙂 sending greetings from europe 🙂

When you burn things in a pan, just put some vinegar in the pan and simmer it for a bit. Should wash easier. Love your channel and love that you guys love the Lord.
An experienced cabinet installer could modify that micro/oven cabinet so that the oven is on the bottom, then microwave the the upper cavity using the same doors.

Jamerrill can you help as far as how to start a sufficient food pantry/storage like yours in this video as cheaply as possible?? Im in California groceries are ridiculously expensive! But with the current times in the world its made me want to have extra storage of my main food items I use the most! Just more cost effectively! If you already have a video can you direct me to it? I'd greatly appreciated it thank you!

A move is overwhelming your getting it all out and set at a later date if you want to change it you can Great Job Moma your kids are great helpers!!
Especially, bathroom and bedrooms the little dividers can be fun. Assign out the sections to each child and allow them with acrylic paint to paint their "pane" as they choose. Let the youngest paint first and move on from there. When they're all done take a scrapbook picture. After some time passes, wash them off, and allow them another creativity time. Maybe different points in the year or school year or with regard to particular unit study (if you do that) make them be a fun spot. It's an idea . . .
Might be might not be new idea for you, but one mama to another, save those torn boxes, they're waiting to be the first layer of your lasagna garden.

In reference to your calendar.. get some wet erase markers from walmart less chance of it being wiped off by arms and little fingers 😁
The next time you burn something in a pan put some water and baking soda in it and then put it on your stove to boil it makes life so much easier
