Dry Ingredients
2 cups raw, whole rolled oats
3 Tbsp millet
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
3 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
Extra Goodies – you choose!
½ cup nuts, chopped
¼ cup seeds
½ cup unsweetened dried fruit, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. Combine all dry ingredients in medium sized bowl.
3. Combine wet ingredients in small bowl.
4. Add wet mixture to dry mixture and stir to coat.
5. Bake for 7 minutes; stir oats so edges don’t burn.
6. Bake an additional 7 minutes or until toasted the way you like it. Watch those edges; they will be the first to burn!
7. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly.
8. Add the perfect combination of extra goodies.
9. Eat up!
