Please I have questions
1. You made mention of different soles and how to identify them, As a beginner it will be difficult to really identify them especially the seller has only one type but my question is this, what will happen if you use the soles interchangeably ( i.e using sole made for sandals/ slippers to make covered shoe)?
2. In the case where by I want to cut out my own sole to make covered shoe using my foot or ready made sole for slippers, how should I go by it.

I'm learning shoemaking but one of the major challenge I have is gum or plaster shoe to durability.
Does the transperent chemical gum last long, such that the shoe won't open at anytime.
And lastly during lesson ma'am you said that it is necessary to heat the chemical gum after it has dried off before bonding it to the upper, what if the chemical gum is used on the upper, is there need to heat the upper also?
Can a tutorial be done on that ma?
I have tried this chemical gum using this method you mentioned but after it cools it still remove.
