Growing up in the 1960's – 70's. We never had the green Kraft can of grated cheese. My mother simply used a box grater and a hunk of Parmesan cheese. Thankfully we had real food in our home in those days and not a lot of processed junk.
All I’m thinking is “WTF is a San Diego salad” LOL.
The person who came up with the " southern" recipes never went south.. or met an actual southerner… 🙄

This series of Kraft commercials came from "The Magic Of David Copperfield: Volume VII", which aired on CBS in 1985.
I remember eating Kraft Macaroni & Cheese when I was a kid, and I also remember getting a free box of crayons with the purchase of the product.
