You’ll Need:
Meatballs:
1 1/5 lb ground been (Mize Beef is BEST)
1/2 c oatmeal
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t onion powder
1/4 c milk
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped fine
Topping:
1 small jar of currant jelly
1 bottle (14 oz) ketchup
Mix ingredients (except jelly and ketchup) together and shape into meatballs.
Lightly spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
Place meatballs in the dish.
Heat jelly and ketchup on stove until mixed and liuidy.
Pour sauce over meatballs.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to one hour.
These can be frozen and baked later if you want. Pour the sauce on them before freezing.
