I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare MyBest.Kitchen a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier… while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.
Hi Lana, I’d like to know how to use dehydration mode. I have apricots I need to dry. By tomorrow so they don’t go to waste. Greatly appreciate your input sincerely Janis
I just purchased an Omni Plus then wondered what next. I searched through YouTube for any help. There are quite a few but your's are fantastic! The info is exactly what I'm looking for, thank you so much! Your recipes sound great. Next trip to the grocery store I'm getting a whole chicken, which I haven't bought in years. You gave me a buncha great ideas. Thank You!
does the heat element on top suppose to be red ?
The cords are short because the assume that you have a lot of outlets in the house and because longer cords get hotter and that is never good. Invest in a nice extension chord.
Is the interior also stainless steel (sides and back)? Thank you.
After I hit cancel from air frying it goes to screen that says off…but then in a few minutes it switches from off to a blinking screen with 135° 08:00 dehydrate and then it goes back to off. I took the first one back and got another one but this one does the same exact thing!!!!!!!!!!
Can you use the reheat mode to bake .
So except for the baking tray are the oven rack and air fryer basket stainless steel ?
There is a piece of foam under the handle, on door. I have had this for a few weeks and the foam is starting to come away but if took it off it will be sticky. Wasn’t sure if that is supposed to be there in the first place and now what do I do.
You have no idea how much this video helped me get started. I couldn’t find any other instructions on their website to help figure out how everything worked. Thank you so much.
Hi Lana, thanks you for such wonderful video! You really cleared up a lot for me; as I just got my omni plus and it really is my first oven. In the manual I read that the omni should be 5” away from drapes, walls etc., so the question is; do you you must operate this oven in an open area, for example a counter top? And is it safe to say put in a built in microwave slot that is built in your kitchen cabinets?
Can’t wait for more recipes for the Omni 😃
You have really helped me understand this new appliance. I was wondering if your Omni is loud? Thank you
How do you cook bacon in the vortex plus oven please
Hi Lana. Can you show me how to learn to set up the number of temperature and time to bake the bread and cake? Thank you 😍
Lana you are my saving grace at this unboxing! Like you said the little information in the user manual did leave me frustrated and scared to use this equipment. I do have a question. When using the reheat mode is this the same function as a microwave? Is it complicated to heat a cup of water in the Instant Pot Omi?
No rotisserie cage no deal
We have a foodi deluxe but i would like a larger air fryer for summer and use the the foodi for winter. I bought the vortex plus but it’s been a few hours and I’m debating on this one. What would you suggest? Family of 5 with 3 young children
You kind of just quickly glossed over the fact that they want you to unplug it when not in use. I don't have to unplug any other kitchen appliance that I own when I am not using it. I don't need to unplug my MW or my blender or my current Toaster Oven. This seems very inconvenient since most outlets are behind the appliances and constantly moving them around to plug and unplug them seems a like a bit of a pain in the neck..
Can you use the Vortex basket to stick into The Omni spit stick? I like the omni so much better the only thing That's stopping me from immediately buying it is the fact that it does not have a basket but I wonder if there is a way around this
1800 Watts is too much power for your 15 amp circuit, can easily cause a fire
It’s 1800 Watts so it might cause a fire if you are using a 15 amp circuit, most kitchens have 15 amp, you need 20 amp or it could cause a fire somewhere in your wiring even in the attic, make sure the plug is not hot and don’t use except with 20 amp
Lana, excellent presentation. Thank you. The reason I chose the Omni, not vortex or Omni plus is I have a parrot and we cannot use coated pans. I will not be able to use the coated pan that comes with the basic Omni but there are other sheet pans that should work, I believe.
Great walk-through of the Omni features. You were very clear and logically walked through all the features and functions. I like it. Thanks for doing this.
Mines didnt come with a Rotisserie Lift and Rotisserie Spit and Forks
Thank you for this video agreed all instapot products the cord so short…..still in debate if oven or basket airfryer😁
What is the difference between the 9 in 1 and the 11 in 1? Can you slow cook in this 9 in 1? I know you can in the 11 in 1.
If only I saw this video before turning on my vortex plus. You sold me on the Vortex plus on your first upload on that appliance. I thought I subscribed at that time. I definitely did now. Yesterday my friend gifted me an Omni Plus. I wasn't at all excited about the Omni plus, knowing what I went through heating up the vortex plus. After watching this video I may use the Omni plus, I Originally planned to return it.
I have the Instant vortex plus, and do not like it at all. my lunch box is more functional and larger. It's about as useful as the e-z bake oven from the 70's
Yes I have a question…
Where or how do you order or find extra Omni racks and baskets of you want to
dehydrated on all three levels at the same time? I've been looking online and can't find anything. I hope you can help.
Also hate short cord, but I bet that's a safety liability perhaps UL/ legal requirement?
Great video review however when going over features which require button presses have the close up view instead of the interview view as your explaining it makes it so we can see what’s going on
it LOOKS bigger than the oster air fryer oven which i have and love. its just a touch on the small side..
Did you know this appliance is touch screen ?
This is the first time I have seen one of your videos. Very helpful! I just received my Omni Plus. I am very confused about the upper and lower heating elements. Which turn on for which functions. I am also concerned about grease splatter on the bottom elements. Any guidance would be appreciated!
Does the Omni get hot on top? Its going to be right under a wooden shelf so Im concerned
I had never heard of either one of these until I saw your videos. Thanks.
