IMPERFECT FOODS UNBOXING / $50 VEGAN grocery haul for two / Reducing food waste
Here is the unboxing of my Imperfect Foods vegan grocery haul. It was $50 for two people and will last us a week. I also tell you how I use this produce and grocery items. I show you some vegan grocery staples as well if you’re new to being vegan and not sure what to buy at the grocery store or how to cook those items. I love Imperfect because they help to reduce food waste by buying up the produce that grocery stores won’t buy because it may look a little funny, or maybe the producer had a surplus they couldn’t sell.

I’m Maria Rose, the founder of Damn Tasty Vegan – No meat. No dairy. No eggs. No problem!
I’m a pole dancing, foul-mouthed, downward-dog-loving, imperfect human who believes in progress not perfection. I’m a food blogger by day, professional musician by night and cat mom for life (meow!)
I hope to show you that being vegan is about reducing animal suffering as much as is practical, and is not about obsessing about purity, weight loss or perfection.
My journey to veganism was not a straight line. I flip flopped between being vegetarian and vegan for years! I fell off the wagon so many times, I have permanent bruises on my metaphorical ass.
I finally got it to stick after spending more time educating myself, connecting with the ethics of veganism and finding a vegan online community so I didn’t feel like an outsider. I’ve now been a satisfied and healthy vegan since 2015.

That looks like such a good haul for $50's.
thank you for this video! You answered all the questions I had for a 2 person vegan household who didn't want to spend more than $50! Followed!
The sweet potatoes that I see don’t even look bad like I assumed they would. 🙂
You've got ALL the plant-based goodies! We can't wait to hear how you love some of the things you haven't tried yet like Daring and Miyokos 😋
What are you excited to cook this week?
Those noodles are so good!
My son, who loves cows milk, loves the NOT MILK. He said its the best he's had.
I use the Forager Yogurt as sour cream. Might need to try the actual thing 🙂
I'd love to see your mushroom stroganoff recipe!
