This is such a quick, easy, guilt free, versatile, low fat, and delicious meal option!
Ingredients:
( you can add any and as many veggies you have or want)
1 large Vidalia Onion or any other kind
1 cup or less of cremini mushrooms or any other kind or canned
1 cup or so baby tomatoes
1cup or so broccoli
1 cup or more colored peppers
1 cup of Zucchini
1/2 jar or as much of my Homemade marinara or any brand of marinara ( Rao’s marinara is delicious) up to you the amount
1 bag 8oz Fiber Gourmet Pasta or any other kind
Onion and garlic powder
oregano or Italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
onion powder
fresh or jarred garlic
hot sauce or chili flakes optional
the amount of low fat cheese to add is Optional
Optional:
any protein ( chicken, fish, turkey, beef, tofu, beans)
Directions:
In a large skillet add cooking spray on a medium to high temperature
Add chopped onion and saute until brown and add mushrooms until brown
add all other veggies
allow to soften
add spices
add cooked pasta
add Marinara
add cheese
add any protein if you want!
Eat immediately!
keep in a sealed container in your fridge up to 6 days!
