The specs are 8 inchs and you bought a 9.25 inch diffuser, isn't it burning the glass on the part which doesn't heat, the hob that is to say?

This heat diffuser consume lot of electricity & take longer time to cook food compared to direct on Induction cooker.

I immediately thought of this after realizing I couldn't use my aluminum pressure cooker, I'm surprised this method isn't more advertised with the induction cooktops. Also, I'm thinking it would work better if the diffuser was closer in size/diameter to the pot/pan you're trying to use, so maybe have a few different sizes. I plan to look around for some scrap stainless steel and cut it down to size.

I bought this same one you have to put under my pot on my glass top stove so I could turn heat down low and wouldn’t have to continually stir my food! Will it do that? If not must return to Amazon Please advise!

You could use that heat defuser with a wood stove hot air fan to heat a trailer or shelter. That's Purdy cool.
