Ok, so I found you this morning and just ate the cake. Omg…. This is what husband wanted for his birthday. It was delicious. Thank you.
Great cake. Would have never thought of using my canner rack.
Sorry about that! 🙂 I changed the recipe and thank you for calling it to my attention! 1/2 C. Goes in the batter and a 1/4 Cup goes into the glaze! I hope you enjoy!
Looks Good. Do you use 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup of rum? The recipe says 1/2 cup and the video say 1/4 cup. Normal wouldn't ask but since it's rum, an extra 1/4 cup could be to much. Thanks in advance for your answer. God Bless to You and Yours
The canning rack works great for glazing cakes! 🙂
You are welcome!
This cake looks so good. Nice and easy also. Thanks for sharing
It is amazing how we have to get the younger generation to help us out with electronics! My 7 years old grandson knows more than I! Good luck!
I just sub to you like all your advice. I made this cake back in the 80's everyone loves it. I have not uploaded any vids yet because not sure how to do it, but my son might get the time this weekend to help guide us through it. I never thought of the canner rack! Thank you so much! Gail
