Los Angeles Loves This Innovative Taco Omakase | Line Around The Block
Guerrilla Tacos is shaking up LA’s Mexican food scene with unique tacos. A once-popular food truck is now a brick-and-mortar location at 2000 E. 7th St. in downtown Los Angeles. Chef Wes Avila and Guerilla Tacos were recently featured in the Netflix series “Taco Chronicles.” Since the summer, the taqueria started offering a $75 seven-course omakase menu, which means diners give their trust to Avila to serve whatever he feels like making that day. This is great news for Insider producer Joe Avella, who can’t decide what to eat anywhere.

This host is so lame.
"Is mango a melon?"
This guy is the Michael Scott of food insider😂
“The strawberries are fresh, the doughnuts are fresh”
Ah yes fresh doughnuts
Yeah, no. If the tacos cost 10x than the border tacos, that ain't a taco thats a rip-off. Don't even bring the "Its a for the artistic style and the passion put into it". The 10-20 year tacos cart men selling in the corner have that and more.
Way overprized.
Nono 😡NOTSafe2Eat👎🏻🌶
Between New York City and Los Angeles, we have more varieties of food than the rest of the world combined. But those are the two biggest cities. Adding in the others cities would have even more varieties. Why?
This is extortion at its finest. I would go home starving to eat instant ramen before bed after that..
y cant i give haha in this?
Ugh this guy sucks at reviewing food! Really his first taquito since 7/11 and he lives in Los Angeles 🙄
$75 yeah imma head out
This host doesn't know anything about food.
$75 for them lil ass portions nahhhhhhh I’ll hit the taco stand with $10 I’ll leave stuffed and food probably way better
I have eaten tacos for 60 years. I grew up eating Old El Paso! I thought that that was a real taco. A couple of years ago I decided that there must be something better. I started making my own. Big improvement. I visited Avanti's in Denver in Feb. of this year. Wow. Great tacos. Now, I have gone up a big step in my homemade tacos. After watching this video, I conclude that if I had lots of expendable cash, I would definitely try these. I do not endorse them, but why not experiment. I am a retiree with not a lot of extra money, but I like to experiment with food.
Lost me at strawberry
75 for that? Nah
That’s literally a 7 course meal not an Omakase and it’s not even worth anything above 30 for what you’re getting
$75 ….nahaa I passed , Tacos around the corner of my house is way better & cheaper then one I saw here
Places like this should be condemmned
Lol that was not much food for $75 especially with two of the courses being 1 oyster and a bowl of melon
These are not tacos. Try rigobertos tacos in santa ana.
Seven course is overrated.. I would rather have one intercourse 😉
Overpriced my opinion……
75$for that 💩 👀
Is mango a melon??? And this dude works for a food channel???
$75 nah I'm good. I don't even like fish or oyster and the donut c'mon.
Ugh look here
I’m not about to shell out 75 bones for pretty garnish, I’d rather go to a real taco spot and grub out for 10$ 😪
Love hearing food reviews from a dude that has never had a fava been and usually gets mozzarella sticks. I wouldn't go here because of this review.
No thank you I’ll eat for a 4 day weekend tacos down in tj and drink cold beer
This guy again ? Same as the Ramen epsidose. Mate, you need to do your homework before! Never had fava bean and softshell crab before, i actually feel bad for you now.
find better food reviewers. this guy SUCKS
75$ is too much..
Did not seem worth $75 at all
Look! It’s $7 worth of food!!
75$ sounds like a rip off
overpriced crap
LA likes anything that costs 10X more than it should
Too little for too much.
Not hating on Joe but Sydney should have been reviewing. Joe is like me – very unrefined taste palate lmaooo
