Oh my word!!!! I made your Swiss meringue buttercream today for a cake for Easter dinner. I put lemon zest in it because it was a lemon cake. It turned out FANTASTIC!!!! Thank You!!! BTW.. I used plant based butter and it still turned smooth and so yummy!!

This is truly and good cake in appearance, taste and texture. I dont have cake pan but used a low circular baking dish that seemed to have same effect for edges.
The parchment paper trick is dope.
However, I made the butter cream EXACTLY as instructed. Dude that was Soooooo sweet it made our teeth hurt. I’m glad insulin prices stabilized.
Now- I will acknowledge you said the sugar can be added “taste” this went way past bliss point. So the question is…
The amount was just the perfect amount for white cake…
If I cut sugar by lets guess -25% how much more butter will I need cover cake real-estate?
Would keeping the 1lb of sugar but adding a 1/2 cup more of butter do the trick…
Or is there some other way to keep volume and drop sweetness factor.

Any alternatives to whole milk? I cannot stand the consistency or smell of it. I like the sour cream idea – would any other liquid other than milk work? I love your work btw – going to try that whipped cream frosting! Can you add pudding mix to it?

I LOVE white cake. I can't think of anything better than meringue buttercream on a white cake. Lemon or lime juice or anise extract also add flavor without adding color. So cute and cheerful. 🥰 Great recipe!

I used 3 egg whites as I needed less quantity of cream. But my cream is not getting together. It not getting thick and creamy. It's still very fluid. What should I do?

Oh no I made with granulated sugar instead of caster sugar. In Australia there is a big difference. Wish i knew this in advance and wish it was written into the recipe as there is a big difference in texture
I was just looking for a recipe for a "bakery style white cake". Without asking, I went straight to your channel. When it doubt, I always go to your channel for any and everything. Reason being, everything I've made from your recipes are absolutely off the chart (goooood). I'm making this cake for my grandaughter who is 24 today. I would love to see pictures of your boys. They were 4 years old August 22nd of this year, if my memory serves me right!
