Fusion Avocado Bhel

Description: (Serves: 2 persons)
Avocado bhel is a sort of salad, a creative fusion of Mexican and Indian flavors. Quick and easy to make and very healthy too, I make it all the time as my lunch substitute. A very healthy recipe for the diet conscious.
Ingredients:
2 cups Roasted Indian puffed rice (murmura)
(1 Tsp Oil, ½ Tsp Salt, ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder)
One Ripe Avocado, (peeled, Pitted)
One finely chopped small red tomato
¼ cup finely chopped red onion
1 TSp Garlic paste
1 Tbsp Finely chopped cilantro leaves
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
1 Tsp Chaat masala
½ Tsp Black pepper powder
¼ cup Sev (Chick pea noodles)
7 – 8 Crispy pani-puri pieces
1 Tbsp Tomato Ketch up
Salt to taste
Method :
– Roast the puffed rice by heating 1 Tsp Oil in a pan.
– Add ¼ Tsp Turmeric, followed by puffed rice and ¼ Tsp salt.
– Roast for an about one minute on medium flame. Keep aside.
– In a big bowl, mash the avocado pieces with fork. Add tomatoes, onions, garlic paste, cilantro leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala, Black pepper powder, sev, crispy puri, tomato ketchup. Mix well.
– Add roasted puffed rice and mix again nicely. Serve immediately before it get soggy.
