in the US we have very high standards in how we eat our foods. if the government sees the workers not wearing gloves, then the factory would be shut down.

They left out one thing…CIQ (China Inspection and Quarantine). Each lot has to be quarantined for a week and then one package from each lot is inspected. Only then is the product shipped.
CIQ has improved things quite a lot.

This isn't spring roll. These are EGG ROLLS. Spring rolls are not fried at all. Spring rolls are rice sheets that are eaten with vegetables cold.

You can’t know that for certain.
Food processing plants don’t want bad publicity with germs and such in their products. I am pretty sure on management level they make rules of hygiene. But do you know how hard it is to micromanage a big company? You can’t expect to check every employee’s hands with a swab and run lab tests on it every time they go to the bathroom. And I think the uniforms are standard and not camera candy. So I don’t think you can just accuse them of lying to us.
