There is an Omega 8004 Nutrition Center and Omega 8006 Nutrition Center. To call the Omega VRT a Nutrition Center, is not accurate in my opinion. Omega uses the term "nutrition center" to describe their "multipurpose" machines. The VRT does not include a blank plate, which allows you to do many of the multi-purpose features.

I would like to know if there is any differences between the Omega VRT 330 single auger juicer, and the Omega Vert Nutrition Center?
These videos are superb! Trying to decide between one of these Omega Vert juicers or a high quality blender like a Vitamix. If I buy the blender, I'd need to use a nut milk bag to get pure juice. If I buy a juicer I suppose I could add a bit of the fibre back into the juice if I wanted some additional fibre. I really couldn't afford both. Any suggestions on which is more useful in the kitchen?
The silicone plug should stay in when juicing.
A few things you might try:
1. get hard, firm apples. If apples are soft or mealy, they have a higher chance to make applesauce instead of juice.
2. use a different screen, the coarse or fine hole may work better or worse depending on the apple.
3. make sure the pulp flap is in place.
Please check my other videos for direct comparisons between the hurom and the Omega VRT's. There are some differences. I feel the one main difference is the warranty. It's 10x longer on the Omega VRT's. Please check my other videos that compare the 8004/8006 to the vert. I have several that will explain and show the differences in detail.
Each person needs to decide for themselves how much green juice they should drink. When making a "green juice", I recommend that you make 75% of the glass juice of a combination of apples, carrots, celery, cucumbers, pears, and 25% of the glass greens. This juicer VRT330 was not designed to make nut butters and coconut butters. The 8004/8006 are recommended for that task.

I want to get either this Omega Vert or the Hurom (which is a bit cheaper). Are there any significant differences between the two?
Also, I want an "overall juicer" that can do wheat grass too and I know you recommend the Omega 8004 or 8006 for wheat grass, but in one of your videos you tested it against the Hurom on carrots and the Hurom was faster and more efficient in terms of the quantity of juice from the same amount of carrots. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi John, i just gave birth 7weeks ago and i want to start juicing. How much green juice should i drink a day and do i have to make the juice each day i'm going to drink it. My mom always blends carrots and other stuff with ginger, lemon and keep it in the refrigerator. How does the juicer cost?
@jcs1492 Thanks John, I want an overall juicer not just wheatgrass. I will juice wheatgrass along with fruits and vegetables. This looks like the best rounded juicer. The fact that it can juice wheatgrass is a PLUS. It ismore efficient than my hi rpm centrifugal juicer I use now. Thanks for all your informative videos and comment replies.
While the VRT wll juice wheatgrass and leafy greens.. I have found that if you want to juice a signicant amount of wheatgrass, I reccomend the horizonal Omega 8004 or 8006 juicers. they tend to work a bit better when juicing MORE leafy greens. I still like the VRT for a "overall juicing" if you wanted to juice a variety – a little of everything including a good amount of fruits.

If you want to juice mostly greens, go with the Omega 8004 or 8006. They are more effective at wheatgrass and leafy greens.
It will juice wheatgrass; that being said if you want to juice alot of wheatgrass, I would reccomend a horizontal style single auger juicer (Omega 8004 or 8006) as they are more effective.
They can make you feel ill because it is said they can be very detoxing for the body.

Each Juicer has its pros and cons. Check my other videos for a comparison between the Green Star Elite and the Omega VRT330. Overall, I like the simplicity, and ease of cleaning in the Omega VRT330, despite the fact the Green Star Elite will produce a higher yield. I juicer that is easier to clean will be used more often than a juicer that is harder to clean. We want to juice as OFTEN as possible.

i have been researching like crazy..you have by far some outstanding videos, and looks like you sold me on the vert….it was between this and the 8006…nice you had a comparison between the two! i really want the sorbet but dont want to break the machine…but all in all the vert seems best….for me this is a very expensive tool/toy so i really want and need it to last,..thanks for all the great videos 🙂
Yes, you can.
This juicer will produce a higher quality carrot juice than the champion. It will make a pulpier juice than the champion. It gets a dryer pulp than the champion and a higher yield. I prefer this juicer over the champion.
