I would love to see a video on portion sizes and what they really are. I feel we have become so accustomed to “ finishing our plate” that we ( I) do not have a realistic view on portions.
I do the same thing — I still eat my non-starchy veggies (and a serving of berries here and there). I need my fiber! The carb count is more than "Strict keto," but I just balance with a little less fat and more protein. Like you mentioned, people that do the "real" keto generally only eat fat and protein. I really can't understand how that could be healthy in the long run. I also do like you do with choosing poultry and fish as protein choices. The fats in a ketogenic diet don't necessarily have to all be saturated, either. I like how you used some creativity. Did you notice any changes in digestion while eating this way? It always takes me a while to get adjusted.

My physical and mental health improve a great deal, and I can focus on more important things than food! Nice. The only thing – it seems to be “low carb” but not “keto”. If you measure your ketones in blood and find yourself in ketosis, then – yes, you are on keto. But I daubt.
On the other hand – Low carb is great too! For most people it will give great results, which is for you, obviously. Go on!
I am also not easily bored by having the same foods. 🙂

"…the pants don't lie" is maybe the most underrated weightloss wisdom ever. When I put on baggy pants I start gaining weight quickly and I won't notice anything. I gain and lose weight very easily and I can go up or down 25 kilos in a very short amount of time. Wearing tight pants makes me automatically eat less so put those tight pants on😊

Thanks for the video. I am tempted to try this. But I don’t eat meat, just fish and eggs. I wonder what are the portion sz that you use for the salmon? 6 or 8oz? Also do you still do your ginger shot when eating as shown in this video?

I know you are in maintenence mode, but I am curious if you have lost any weight since doing keto?
I am lucky to have a friend who raises chickens and gives me eggs, they are cage free. Is that the same as pasture raised?

I agree Tracy we all are different in what works for us. In my experience, sticking to hunger/fullness cues has given me great results. When I start gaining weight, I notice I haven’t felt 1 hunger sensation in months or weeks. It doesn’t really matter “what” I eat if I stay within the hunger/fullness window. I will lose weight pretty quickly.

Hi Tracy, I’m also lazy keto. I’m not one to totally cut out carbs. I love my carbs! I have learned through trial and error what works for me. I have lost 6 lbs. with keto. I wasn’t over weight I just wanted to feel better and lean out. When it comes down to it.. moderation! And a cheat Day! Thanks ! Tracy always love listening to you on all topics! You look beautiful ! Would love to hear your daughter's thoughts on keto. The meals look great. I admire the work that goes into the meal prep. I have a hard time getting on board with this diet. My son is Type I diabetic and we strive daily to keep him out of DKA, so I just don't understand the concept all that well. May research into it more. Love your videos.🌻
