PLEASE NOTE!!!! Love in a Mist (Nigella Damascena) is NOT the same as Nigella Sativa though they are related and the flowers are very similar. Nigella Damascena seed contains Damascenine which is a toxic alkaloid. I did not realize until AFTER shooting the above video that Nigella Sativa was relative to the Love in a Mist or I would have added that in. Now, upon further research, some sites claim that both the flower and seed are edible but years ago when I was growing Love in a Mist, I had found that they were toxic. So PLEASE do your own research before delving into use on the Nigella Damascena
Hi there I’ve been taking black seed about four months now, bc I wanted to lower my A1C and I have highblood pressure anyway first I tried to added to water or juice but it doesn’t dissolve so now I put a tsp into my yogurt and it works fine for me. Results A1C is 6 and highblood pressure is now normal that to this amazing seed.
I just started taking black seed today and will update if I see any improvements.

Will the seeds just pass through your intestinal track when taken whole? I have also read black seed helps in the production of brow fat which help with weight loss is this true?
I just started using black seed oil for one week now and my hands and feet are always cold but the past 2 days I'm not having that problem! That could be it's helping my thyroid or my circulation or maybe even both but I started taking it because my knees and hips hurt and I've been putting it on on my knees and my hips but I also been taking it orally! Kinda wondering how long will it take to help with the pain!

I make my crushed nigella seed, lemon, tangerine peel and fruit, honey, and ginger preparation. Because we get very hot weather in Australia I use alcohol to preserve it. I keep my 3L jar in the fridge we have our mutti every day about a shot glass each. Kids can just chomp the seeds, though boiled off the alcohol is safe. I make also various other preps anything I have like pineapple. I found passion fruits on sale that was a joy! I take my VitD3, zinc and iron supps at the same time. We grew up with Welleda preparations and tissue salts it is such a joy to see more people search out better health through natural means. In Australia many meds are suddenly unavailable, like epi pens! Or simply taken of the list it has caused such danger and misery. A friend of mine with diabetes says her meds have been an issue so she too is working on what she can do about it. May God light your way, adieu.

Great video! I started taken black seeds before meals but around the 3rd day I started feeling queasy. Of course I suspected parasites, but who wants to admit that. I decided to take a more potent treatment to get rid of the parasites and now I take the seeds again, before meals, with no problems. I just wash them down with water.
Black seed is sprinkled on top of certain bake goods > I lived in turkey and the Middle East also sesame seeds are put on top of certain bake goods > it aides in digestion > there is a great YouTube channel for Turkish food “refika’s kitchen” also Persians take black seed oil in milk > just put a small amount of oil in the milk and it will cover the taste of the oil pretty good

Thank you for this video. I’m very interested in Blackseed, especially the oil. I have a big bottle of it at home. One thing that I have used it for my thyroid, but I rub it on the outside of my thyroid. If you have problems with candida, it helps to kill the yeast, which is also done by taking it internally
I grew this in my zone 8b garden. It's a very easy plant to grow. Full sun. Love warmer areas of the garden. Will self sow like Nigella damascena, the common love in a mist. If ypu buy bulk seeds try sowing those. They are often fresh enough to germinate and grow well.
Do the seeds get digested when you eat them whole?
I bought black seed oil a couple of weeks ago because my son had a readily bad eczema flare from eating to much bread. When he had to much wheat he gets a flare up. They're few and far between, but they linger when they pop up. I added the oil to our regimen and it seemed to make it worse by spreading from his arms where it normally pops up to his neck and one of his legs. I'm also using it for HSV2. We don't really care for the oil so I ordered the same seeds you have agreed setting them on another page. I ground them in a blender and made a paste with raw honey. The whole family took a tspn. The plan is to take 1tsp daily. I'm praying this works.

A few months ago I bought a bag (calico) of black sesame seeds from my favourite whole food store Scoop. They went in a glass jar into my refrigerator. This week I bought Nigella Sativa (black cumin seed) from the same store. I tasted it straight and it was very bitter but with raw local honey together on bread, the bitter taste is disguised. Then I tasted the black sesame seeds. They are definitely different, the sesame seed taste is there, a lot stronger. Hope this helps 💖.
